The Easton Area Corvette Club
has no mandatory commitments . We do have a point system
that rewards members who are active in our club . It is a
requirement that you own a Corvette to be an EACC Member
.
We hold two Club Meeting each
month , on the first Thursday and next to last Thursday .
During the warmer months , our first of the month
meetings are held OUTSIDE in the park . For those members
who are unable to attend the meetings , our monthly EACC
Newsletter and this club website keeps them informed on "What's Happening
" with the club .
We are a family oriented car
club . We welcome spouses and significant others to attend any
club function that we sanction . We try to plan
activities that will appeal to all of our members .
We are proud of
our very successful Car Cruise that is held the first Saturday of the
month from May thru October . We host an average of 300 cars each month at our " Cruisin'
at the Crossings " event . The 2010 season will commemorate
our 15th year .
We also hold an
annual car show in August called " Vettes for Pets ". Proceeds from
this show benefit the Center for Animal Health and Welfare (formerly Northampton County S.P.C.A.)__
Besides our Car Show , we also participate in other club's car shows , Parades ,
Corvettes at Carlisle , a Summer Picnic for members and
their families , and a Christmas Party for members and
their guests . We host a Halloween Dance each October and we also hold frequent driving events that
we call " Fun Runs " .
Another thing we
are very proud of is the monetary contributions we make to two caring
organizations ..... Camelot House for Children and the Animal Shelter. These organizations are
our major charities , but we also donate money to
Multiple Sclerosis , Juvenile Diabetes , the American
Cancer Society , and the Easton Childrens Home .
